DeAnne Young is the Owner, Founder, and President of a statewide Property Preservation company, and a regional Inspection company, with over 26 years of experience servicing FHA, HUD, FNMA, and FHLMC properties, servicing, and inspecting. She oversees and manages the vendor and client relationships across several platforms in the Mortgage Default Servicing Industry: pre-sale, post-sale (REO), and FHA properties. She participates in the development of business operations and the contractor networking, as well as the primary contact on all contract negotiations, duties for client liasons, business development, and procurement of new accounts and clients. DeAnne has compiled and written E-books to instruct other small businesses in how to start and grow their field service companies and has provided warm referrals to Vendor Managers of past and current clients to help build their network of qualified contractors. She builds her businesses from the ground up, and is one of the largest statewide Mortgage Default Industry's leaders in integrity, quality, and customer service. Her company is SAMS approved and Certified Small business, woman-owned by SWAM and is currently working on a national certification with WBENC. Her company also has membership in NAMFS (National Association of Mortgage Field Services). DeAnne is also a licensed Real Estate Broker, in good standing, in the State of Virginia. She is also a member of NAR and HRAR.
Lauren Young is the Vice President of Colonial Property Group, as well as the Senior Technical Writer. Lauren has been a part of the Mortgage Field Business for over 12 years, and has been immersed in it since 2008. After she earning her Bachelor’s Degree in English from Old Dominion University, 2007, as well as a Master of Fine Arts in Writing from Spalding University, 2010, she has used her extensive knowledge of the Inspection and Property Preservation Mortgage Field Industry to write expansive training materials, manuals and online training and tests (for both in-house employees and contractors), to make sure all hired contractors and inspectors are trained correctly. She has also written Mortgage Field Industry specific e-books and blogged for a merchant website devoted to training entrepreneurs like Dee Young and herself. She also partnered with an industry trade association (NAMFS) to help write training material to further and better educate contractors on a national level.
Mark Young is the General Operations Manager and HR Director for Colonial Property . He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from ODU, 2011 and uses his extensive knowledge of the mortgage field industry (both inspections and preservation (ppo & REO) to ensure all departments (HR, Preservation, Inspection and Accounting) are running smoothly in the daily operations. He carries out operating procedures for all departments, evaluates employees on job performances and critiques each department for operating improvements and efficiency. Mark assists the Preservation and Inspection Supervisors in the management of 12 employees and 30 independent subcontractors and inspectors in the states of VA, WVA and PA. He also handles conflict resolution, all escalations pertaining to employee, independent subcontractor and inspector issues. Mark is also certified in the rules and regulations of workplace and field safety and OSHA compliant.
Mr. Courtney D. Evans is the Chief Information Officer of Colonial Property Group. He is a graduate of ITT Technical Institute, and has been a Systems Engineer, as well as a manager for Information Systems for many years. He brings over 14 years of experience in real estate investment, property management, mortgage field servicing; both inspections and preservation (REO). He has worked training inspectors and independent contractors, and in business development. He also has over 20 years of experience in IT infrastructure and Internet Marketing, including owning his own Internet business, at one time. He has served as a business consultant for websites, hosting, search engine optimization, and in many more areas. He has experience in network administration for many small and medium size businesses throughout our local area. He has developed our intranet for staff training and information. Courtney is a licensed Real Estate agent, in good standing, in the State of Virginia.
Tricia Wills is the Property Preservation Director and brings over 14 years of Real estate experience which included organizing property preservation work for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to sell their properties. She also has over 10 years experience in office manger positions which included working with the Mayor and City Council of San Diego in development of new properties. Tricia is in charge of overseeing all new orders that come in and out of preservation to make sure all work is performed with quality and is out before due dates. She oversees all departments to make sure everything is being completed within our high company’s standards. She also handles correspondence with all clients and resolves any issues that may arise in a timely manner. She maintains a productive and positive work environment for all employees in the office as well as out in the field. Tricia interviews and hires all new employees and clients who join Colonial Property Group.
Jimmy Paku is the Property Preservation Supervisor with 4 years of experience in the industry, catering to clients and helping to manage the contractors. Along side client management, Jimmy is our point of contact with one of our main clients of which he handles all updates with and ensures exceptional communication between client, CPG and contractor. He also manages the processing team to make certain details are not missed and to guarantee timely and accurate results to all clients. All new team members of the processing team are trained by Jimmy so all team members are uniform in our processing system.
Cami Varcoe is the Lead Processor of the Processing team and brings with her almost 9 years in the industry. Cami spear heads one of our regular clients and controls all orders and results based on the client’s needs. She also brings with her the ability to help with high volume processing of all client orders and oversees the processors to aide in accurate processing of results.
Amber Robinson is our Accounting and Information Technology Assistant bringing almost 6 years of experience in the field services industry. Amber handles all incoming payments posted to work orders and works closely with Dee Young and Tricia Wills in regards to accounts receivable and accounts payable. She is also our in-house technical support to all of our contractors using specific software and in the absence of Courtney Evans she maintains and handles in-house technical cases as well. Amber brings with her the experience in not just Property Preservation but Inspections, including Loss Drafts.
